Hog-ring staples and staplers

Here is a cost-effective, efficient means to closing ice bags. These reliable staplers crimp a tamper-proof circular closure. Not only do these units work well for small ice producers that don’t require automatic closing equipment, but this item is valuable to have on all delivery trucks for a quick way to seal a bag with a defective closure. Staples are packaged 2500 per box.

Double loop wire ties

These galvanized-coated 18-gauge loop end ties are ideal for closing heavy, bulk ice bags. Simply wrap the tie around the area of the bag you wish to close and twist with a loop-end tool. AIS stocks both 3 and 4 inch lengths packaged 5000 ties per bundle.

Tools for loop end wire ties

AIS offers three types of tools for closing bags using double-loop wire ties. Automatic return twisters automatically twist the loop-end tie four turns with one simple pull. These twisters are available with standard metal handle or optional wood handle. If you prefer a more economical tier, we offer a hand-tying tool, which requires a manual cranking motion of the operator’s wrist.
