Remote Sumps ensure convenient and reliable cold weather operation of water-cooled ice makers.
The remote sump is located inside the ice maker machine room and piped in line with the condenser
water loop.
Water from the cooling tower, or evaporative condenser, is drained into
the sump before re-circulating through the system.By plumbing this
item in the condenser water loop, line freeze-ups are eliminated, and
ice machine operation is insured when outside temperatures are below
freezing. AIS supplies and system integrates remote sump tanks to best
meet the individual needs of each system.
